Our Origins

The origins of Client Werks LLC can be traced through its Founders early-career activities and predecessor holdings and ventures which began in the early 80’s in the Capital City of the British Virgin Islands, Road Town, Tortola. It being the preferred jurisdiction for corporate and trust formation, financial privacy, security and wealth building in the Caribbean, the British Virgin Islands  became the epicenter for fiduciary operations of international companies and an ideal environment for traders like West Indies Group Limited.

Through the Founders sales expertise, by the mid 80's, West Indies Group Ltd. rapidly grew to become a large provider of fiduciary and financial services managing a portfolio of over 700 corporate and trust clients.

By the late 80’s, the Founder held ownership options and was directing operations of four business groups with offices in Tortola, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and Barbados. The firm was diversified into fiduciary services, automotive & marine holdings, and soft armor development for law enforcement and military applications which was enhanced through licensing of its technology and certifications by the National Institute of Justice. West Indies Group Ltd. rapidly grew to become the largest sales and distribution organizations in the Caribbean and certain key international markets for automotive, truck and marine parts & components, weapons, munitions, and specialized materiel and training for Caribbean law enforcement, civil defense/National Guard.

Early in 2000, after surviving hurricanes Hugo and Marilyn, West Indies Group Limited divested its remaining Caribbean holdings, and the Founder opted to repatriate to the U.S. and focus on opportunities and expand interests in Nevada, which included fiduciary services like corporate and trust structuring, and construction and mining support services.

Client Werks LLC was established early in 2012 to consolidate core operating groups of predecessor Nevada-based holdings and Caribbean-based interests comprised of three holdings trusts and two corporations, which were subject to onerous capital gains tax exposure due to upcoming changes in tax law.
